The ARMED FORCES CHILDREN’S EDUCATION FUND (AFCEF) was established on May 1, 2003, the first day of National Military Appreciation Month (NMAM). This non-profit corporation was created to financially assist the educational needs of the surviving children of the U.S. Military men and women who lost their lives on or after October 7, 2001, the commencement of Afghanistan operations, as part of the global war on terrorism defined as “Operation Enduring Freedom.”

The United States has become the leader in the world in the War on Terrorism. Unfortunately, this battle does not come without the sacrifice of the lives of some of our military men and women. For this reason, those associated with the AFCEF feel it is our moral obligation to provide some form of assistance to the families left behind. This education fund for the children of those fallen heroes is just a small way for Americans to say “thank you” for the ultimate sacrifice made in the name of freedom.

In 2006-2007, through the sales of our 2004 & 2005 PFC Sonoma County Ranches Zinfandel, we were able to contribute over $3,500 to the AFCEF in the name of the wine purchaser.  We are proud to participate and reciprocate for such a worthy  cause!
