The grapes selected for our 2004 Sonoma County Ranches Zinfandel came from the Bacigalupi Ranch in Russian River Valley and the Ramazzotti Ranch in Dry Creek Valley. We feel that these two appellations in Sonoma County produce the best Zinfandel in California. These vineyards produce "Classic Zinfandel" with a distinct core of black cherry and spicy black pepper. The PFC Sonoma County Ranches Zinfandel is further characterized by lush blackberry, dark raspberry and boysenberry fruit that mingle with vanilla, anise, cinnamon, toasty oak & allspice. Cheers! The Phipps Family
