Phipps Family Cellars (PFC) is a boutique winery operation located in Napa Valley, California. We produce ultra-premium wines from some of the finest vineyards in the Napa and Sonoma Valleys. PFC was founded in 2004 with the simple belief that through high-quality and consistency in our wines, we will achieve a cult status among those individuals who have had the chance to appreciate our wines first-hand. With the addition of Winemaker Jeff Fontanella in 2006, Phipps Family Cellars is boldly carving out it's place in California's ultra-premium wine industry.
Our current release is the 2005 Sonoma County Ranches Zinfandel that owner, Andrew Phipps, describes as a "Cab-Lover's Zinfandel." Our style of Zinfandel is to create a complete wine experience from the lavish, black-fruit-filled bouquet to the full, richly-spiced and rounded mouth feel to the everlasting gobstopper finish that, unlike most zinfandels, leaves no trace of alcohol on the palate.
Phipps Family Cellars' wines that are currently in production include the Dalla Gasperina Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc from Rutherford, Treborce Vineyard Zinfandel from Dry Creek, Grumpy's Vineyard Zinfandel from Rockpile, Dalla Gasperina Vineyard & Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons from Rutherford.
PFC is a proud sponsor of the Armed Forces Children's Education Fund (AFCEF). In 2006-2007, Phipps Family Cellars donated over $2,500 from Zin sales to the AFCEF. The AFCEF was founded as an educational fund for the children of our fallen heroes: Click here to learn more... |
